not so much, because if you accept the the temperature activate the reaction, then simply insulating the reaction enough will recycle the heat to increase temperature, and all the rest of het can be used.
the reason the thermal COP is not infinite is probably that you need to let temperature reduce temporarily, and then restart just as needed, to allow better control . this protocol of pulse excitation is the one defkalion have publishend on their forum.
hot gaz reactors are really the breakthrough. it is more easy to recycle heat to activate the reaction…much more natural than electricity.
it is probably why, like celani reported at CER, some experiments with hydrogen+argon have a good efficiency. argon is an insulator, that protect the active site from cooling.
